"BTFC are one of the most forward thinking and progressive non-league clubs in England. The development of the Larges Lane stadium makes it one of the best facilities around and is a statement of ambition". Commented Neil Holloway, GPS UK Director. "BTFC’s plans to build a multi-purpose sports and leisure campus at Ranelagh School, along with the overall regeneration happening in Bracknell as a Town makes it very exciting time for their community. BTFC have the facilities and ability to be one of the best academies and club at their respective level in the country’.
The recent transformation at BTFC has seen a dramatic improvement across the club, both on and off the pitch. Our latest state-of-the-art 3G pitch has allowed us to expand to approaching 40 youth teams across all ages. Our youth section has evolved from playing Saturday mornings to having teams playing on Sundays in the Surrey Youth League and the exclusive JPL League on Saturdays and the U18 Allied Counties League.
“We are proud to partner with GPS on this exciting educational programme with the launch of the BTFC Academy. This is a big step forward for the club and the local community, and is geared to providing a high class educational and sports facility”, said Kayne Steinborn-Busse Chairman Bracknell Town Football Club. “Our partners in this project all share the same vision, that is, to allow students to continue on their football and educational pathway by opening doors to higher education, coaching and to further their development as players”.
Following last season’s promotion to the Bostik South Central Division BTFC senior men’s team are continuing the clubs vision and are looking to make strides up the football pyramid. Whilst it is early stages in this process they are currently on track and remain unbeaten in the league for the 2018/2019 season.
BTFC Academy first set of trial dates will be during the October half term week.
